Kalie 'Key' Castaway is an orphan with the uncanny ability to undo any lock. Hence the Key nickname. She doesn't remember much before the group home except some flashes of the ocean and has a leather purse-like box with a double star logo on it. She is known to be quiet, speaking only when absolutely needs to, but likes to have fun and cause harmless mischief.

Other abilities include telekinesis, telepathy with animals, mild clairvoyance and enhanced hearing.
